Prof. Benz and Valentina Arros support the new diorama of the Naturmuseum Königsbrunn with an interactive Infogram on Fungi

Re-Opening on Nov 29th, 2024

For the re-opening of the Naturmuseum Königsbrunn in November 2024, the curators build a spectacular diorama showing plants, animals and fungi of the local area around the river Lech, which is flanked by several interactive touch-screens providing the background information to the displayed organisms. We were asked to contribute a background presentation on the diversity and great potentials of fungi in the ecosystems. For this, Prof. Benz worked together with mycologist Markus Blaschke from the Bavarian State Institute of Forestry (LWF) to create the scientific contents and with the Natural Science Illustrator Valentina Arros, who created the appealing display graphics visible on the picture (and on our research homepage!).
