Our laboratory and offices are located at the TUM Weihenstephan Campus. How to get to campus:
By plane. Munich airport is close by and has many non-stop connections to international and national destinations. You can readily reach the TUM Weihenstephan Campus from the airport in about 30 min by public transport. You can check here at Munich MVV for your public tranport timetable and fastest connections.
By public transport from downtown Munich. Public transport takes you from downtown Munich to TUM Weihenstephan Campus in approximately 35-40 min. Please check here at Munich MVV for your public tranport timetable and the fastest connections. Typically, you can take either S-Bahn line S1 towards 'Freising' or the regional trains RE 3 or RE55 and exit at the stop 'Freising'. At Freising train station there is a number of buses that will take you to campus, such as buses number 638, 639, or X660. Exit at the stops 'Freising, Weihenstephan' or 'Freising, Am Staudengarten' to reach TUM Weihenstephan Campus.
By car from downtown Munich. Get onto 'Mittlerer Ring'. Follow the highway signs toward A9 and Munich Airport. Continue one exit beyond the airport to 'Freising-Mitte' (one exit after the airport). Follow signs. Multiple parking spaces are available free of charge on campus. The drive from downtown Munich takes approx 40 minutes (depending on traffic).
