Sustainability

Professor Asseng is one of the leader of the AGMiP Wheat Project in which different wheat crop models are compared, improved and used to analyse the best combinations of cultivars and managements techniques to increase agricultural productivity and sustainability for future climatic scenarios.

The chair points to sustainability also in the field of vertical farming, where a variety of last generation and sustainable substrates are currently tested in the experiments.
