The AgMIP-wheat team, co-lead by Senthold Asseng, together with Pierre Martre, INRAE, Heidi Webber and Frank Ewert, ZALF, met at the 18^th AgMIP‐Wheat Workshop during 9-11 July 2024 at the China Agricultural University in Beijing, to explore possible steps towards better sink-source modeling and incorporating new system aspects like biodiversity, to discuss progress of AgMIP-wheat activities and to develop a joined AgMIP-wheat model application project considering multi-factors and extremes.
